Honda Civic Sedan European Version Launched

Honda Civic Sedan European Version Launched
Honda has just released the first official info and pictures of the Euro-spec 2012 Civic sedan, with the carmaker bragging that the car has not just gained a boot section, it has also received multiple enhancements.

Unfortunately, unlike in the case of the hatchback version (you can read our review of the car here), which isn’t offered in the US and comes with its own design that appeals to Europeans, the sedan borrows almost all of the styling features from its US counterpart, which means we are dealing with a rather bland look. Honda has redesigned the light clusters, not only to meet the EU rules but also to bring a design bonus, but we can’t really say they’ve succeeded.

Climbing aboard, we find a redesigned center console, as well as updated seats, both up front and in the rear. The vehicle also comes with the new I-MID (Intelligent-Multi Information Display) screen that allows one to monitor all the functions of the vehicle.

The vehicle is being launched with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and will probably carry on the rest of the units from the hatchback version. Sales of the European Honda Civic are set to debut this summer.
