Lamborghini Aventador deliveries may be delayed
Lamborghini's factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, survived the recent earthquakes in the region undamaged. Production at the factory has resumed but deliveries of Lamborghini's 691-hp Aventador may be delayed because of supplier troubles.

The initial sequence of earthquakes struck the Modena province of northern Italy on May 20 and was followed by another series of tremors on May 29. The May 29 quakes caused Lamborghini, Ferrari and Maserati to suspend production.

Currently, Gallardo production is unaffected, but in a press release, Lamborghini said that suppliers have had to slow down or relocate production of some key components meant for the Aventador. The company did not specifically say that production of new Aventador has ceased but says that it is working with suppliers to rebuild and normalize supply as quickly as possible.
