BMW USA Explains Why X1 Is Good

BMW only decided that the BMW X1 was worth bringing to the US as ‘the Ultimate Driving Machine’, which combines the best attributes of the car with those of an SUV, thus creating the Sports Activity Vehicle.

Why it’s smaller than the X3, there’s still plenty of practicality left in the X1, and so the vehicle is ideal for the outdoorsman in you. Of course, nobody is really going to take a BMW off-roading, so you’re basically left with the badge.

The 2013 BMW X1 will arrive in the US this fall staring at a MSRP of $31,545 (including $895 Destination and Handling).

There are two engines available right now, both in combination with brake energy regeneration, while the X1 sDrive28i and xDrive28i models also get from Auto Start/Stop. If it’s performance you want, the top of the range xDrive35i will be priced at $39,345.
